Students enrolled in all programs at the Jones County Career-Technical Center are eligible to join student council provided they meet the Jones County Schools policy for requirements.  Student council members serve as a positive link between the student body and faculty and develop a growing appreciation for a democracy by pursuing the educational possibilities and the privilege of participating in a democratic society. Student Council promotes and provides leadership opportunities to prepare and empower student leaders who serve their school and communities. Student council sponsors the award winning “High Five” Program.
